Mr. Murray Atkins, Director, is a principal of, and has been President of, a private company specializing in the acquisition, development and management of real estate since 1996.  Mr. Atkins has been instrumental in the assembling of management and assets, and the funding of many private and public companies.  He is also involved in several companies which are listed on the TSX-Venture Exchange or have pending listings.  Mr. Atkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah.

Mr. CHEN “Tiger” Ting, MBA, Director and Company Secretary, is presently serving as Company Secretary for Wellkan Resources Limited and has experience in corporate finance, investment analysis and private equity.  Prior to joining Welkan in 2008, Mr. Chen worked at the Investment Department of CITIC International Assets Management Limited (Hong Kong) as a Vice President and London Asia Investment Banking Limited (Beijing) as an Investment Director and was responsible for exploring investment opportunities in China, assessing and executing the investment projects.  Before that, Mr. Chen served as Senior Project Manager at Southern Securities Limited (Shenzhen) and was responsible for IPO and M&A work, particularly in the due diligence and the preparation of admission documents phases.  Mr. Chen studied in the People’s Republic of China and in the United Kingdom.  He has a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Leeds, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China.

Mr. DING “Derek Dean” Xiaodong, Director, graduated from the Law School of Beijing University with distinction and has been working as a senior lawyer for Jingtian & Gongcheng Attorneys at Law, a top-ranked domestic law firm with an excellent reputation in securities and investment field.  Prior to that, he worked with Zong Heng Law Firm ("Zong Heng") where he was responsible for the operation and development of Zong Heng’s legal practices in the securities and investment field.  He has extensive experience in several fields, including securities, corporate finance and investment.

Mr. Roy Hudson, Director, is a partner in the Davis LLP Calgary office.  His practice is focused on advising resource-based and other companies involved in oil & gas exploration and production, energy services, mining, construction and technology.  Mr. Hudson often acts as corporate counsel for junior and mid-size companies and handles their securities law compliance, corporate/commercial, merger and acquisitions, and other legal requirements.  In this capacity, he works closely with management and boards of directors to advise on, and implement strategic initiatives.

Mr. LEE “Conway” Kong Wai, Director, is recognized as a successful business developer and expert in corporate finance, M&A, and overseas listings.  In his career life, he had successfully assisted over 30 corporations listed in Hong Kong, China and the United States, including China Mengniu; Cofco Group of Companies; Gome; Little Sheep Group, Haikou Meilan Airport; HNG.  Mr. Lee was one of the first business professionals into China and has been a resident of Shanghai and Beijing since 1996.  He has held key leadership positions in the development of Ernst & Young (EY) in China.  Currently, he is an elected member of the FE Council overseeing the operations of Far East Executives of EYFE area.  Mr. Lee’s community work includes serving as an honorary auditor of Hong Kong Kidney Foundation; The Children's Foundation in Hong Kong and The China Children and Youngster Foundation.  Mr. Lee also serves as a member of the council of the latter Foundation.  In 2007 Mr. Lee was appointed a member of China People Political Consultative Conference of Hunan Province in China.  He graduated from Kingston University of Technology in London and has his post graduate diploma from Curtin University of Technology in Australia.

Mr. LIU Bingqiang, Co-founder, Director and CEO, obtained his Bachelor Degree from Changsha Railroad University, he worked his way up to Section Chief of the 20th Bureau of Ministry of Railways of China.  In 2001, he founded and chaired Shaanxi Mingtai Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. (“SXMT”) with businesses ranging from construction of roads, expressways, bridges, tunnels, municipal works and industrial and civilian buildings, with projects in more than 10 provinces in China.  In 2003, he founded Shaanxi Bintai Mining Industry Co., Ltd. (“SXBT”), which currently wholly owns a coal mine with reserves of 10 million tonnes and annual production of 300,000 tonnes per year.  SXBT also co-owns a lead-zinc mine with a 270,000 tonne reserve and 500 tonne per day production capacity.  In July 2006, Mr. Liu was selected Western Celebrity of China, granted the honour of Credit Enterpriser of the Year, Innovative Person of the Year and Credit Manager of China.

Dr. MA Zhaoyang, Co-founder, Director and Chairman, has been active for over 10 years in financial advisory and private equity investment businesses including a focus on investment, acquisition and company building in the mining industry.  Dr. Ma has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s degree in Management from Northwestern Polytechnical University (“NPU”), China’s only research-oriented, multi-disciplinary, and open university of science and technology.  He became an associate professor of the School of Management at NPU in 1997 and earned his doctorate in Management Studies in 2009.  He is currently serving as Vice Professor of the School of Management at NPU.  He worked at Xian Aeronautics Computing Technology Institute from 1990 to 1994.  He serves as an independent director of Xi’an Kaiyuan Holding Group Co. Ltd. (SH: 0001516) and as an executive director of Taihua plc (AIM listed).  Dr. Ma also served as chairman of Shaanxi Dewei Investment Consultancy Co., Ltd., Researcher of China Management Engineering Academy and consultant of “Economic Review” magazine.
